'Rheumatologist Report - Swelling Discomfort/Still visible'

Aug 16 2013 Rheumatologist Report and 2013 full of swelling/bruising and unhelpful non conclusive advice. Despite 75% loss of the attaching Ligamentum Teres and severity labrum/pelvis of injury so forth, I should have surpassed the swelling/bruising etc within months of arthroscope.

Yet I have spent all of 2013 swollen and bruised. The swelling was progressing down to better gradually post surgery and then stopped to about 2 inches laterally, forcing my Op RT Hip up higher than my LT Hip.

I saw numerous specialists about this concerned including the surgeon who operated the hip joint and a Rheumatologist. No one requested follow up imaging/MRI despite slowness in recovery/healing. When I saw my Surgeon and asked 'When will the massive deformity of lateral hip 2 inch lump go'? he said he didn't know and that it's usually not a question his patients ask. I'm a highly trained trainer and athlete who cannot afford the swollen discomfort and visible deformity - which restricts normal gait/movement.

After 12 months of this I saw the surgeon again in November 2013. He told me I had glute tendinopathy, not to ice, not to touch glutes, not to stretch etc. That it had to be left alone to heal and he didn't know how long that would take. He also mentioned I had residue Bursitis RT hip from the Surgery a year ago (I was a bit annoyed that it hadn't been picked up sooner and treated after the surgery - I mean a year later!?!) Upon checking hip it was still tender/limited.
