Extremely sorry for lack of posts this week. I have just been a little tired and spent in trying to organize and find
an osteopath and another surgeon. Needless to say my prior goal of resolving post op swelling by March is now unattainable, especially given MRI recent findings. But I'm still intending to progress well with at least the upper body/whiplash. I have an injection in the neck scheduled for 1st Feb and I cannot wait to get into my neck/back and start the next phase of its recovery.
Earlier this week I had sent a timeline of events/imaging/treatments to an Osteopath who I'm hoping to work with in my collision/post surgical recovery. I intend to see on her on TAC approval hopefully by next week to better manage hip in accordance to surgeon findings/recommendations.

I will also need to see a new hip arthroscope surgeon RE latest MRI findings for review, 2nd opinion and hopefully better management going forward.
Although I don't agree with past treatment etc by the TAC I would like to take a second to express my gratitude for the TAC and my current case manager who has the work cut out for them in my case. Your prompt actions and thorough paperwork is so appreciated. Especially with an ever changing and complex rehabilitative landscape.
Expect in some future posts my plan going forward but with the approval and input of the new osteopath and a new surgeon :D Looks like a year of swelling/disfigurement reduction ahead...

Timeline of collision to now;

21 Mar 2012 - Crutches used from day of collision until May (stopped May to July by request of Dr David Bolzenello, GP Kathy Yu (Not my usual GP) and the Pain CRPS physio at the time until MRI result July 2012) Please refer to Letter Kathy Yu with advise in treating the now mis-diagnosed CRPS Regional Pain Syndrome
Crutch use continued until surgery in November and weaned off by end of Feb 2013 STILL difficult to walk, control gait without discomfort esp around the greater trochanter RT
Arthroscope sites continued to bleed out through my clothes for 7/8 weeks post surgery/was brought to the surgeons attention
Vertical and horizontal RT hip swelling stopped diminishing (plateaued at 3 months post surgery. I have seen numerous specialists about this in the surgeon prior and none could say if the swelling would go away or had any opinion to offer

26 April 2012 - Dr David Bolzenello started writing CRPS diagnosis from first visit without requesting imaging
July 2012 - Post 1st HIP MRI result - I had crutches fitted and refused to go back to the then physio/Dr David Bolzenello and went back to my old local GP Ghassan Markabowie, with a change to Physiotherapist (current) Travis Haupstein around August 2012

- 26 April 2012 - Med Cert 1st examination by Dr David Bolzenello at the Alphington - diagnosed me with CRPS despite my complaint of Hip/lack o stability feel through RT leg
- 18 May 2012 - Dr Kathy Yu recommendations treating CRPS (misdiagnosed) Dr Kathy Yu did the same CRPS management course together with Dr David Bolzenello hence his referral to her
- Forced to water run and load hips by CRPS physio workmate of Dr David Bolzenello, through this time
- ? June 2012 - Nerve testing requested (100 Victoria Parade) by Dr David Bolzenello (Showed normal responses)
- 11 July 2012 - MRI RT Hip - pre surgery (Requested by Dr Kathy Yu due to lack of response to CRPS treatment/management and me having the RT hip collapse in the street completely post the CRPS specialized Physio in Moreland Andrew Norwaki)
- 13 July 2012 - US RT Hip Greater Trochanter Cortisone No1 with a Pain Diary to fill/administered before TAC would consider approving RT Hip Arthroscope
