Soup 'Tom Chilli Veg'

'When its cold out, nothing quite hits the spot like a hot and spicy tomato soup. The added chilli and spice, really
warms up the body and added the legumes boosts up both fibre and protein. A hearty warming and tangy soup served up here with Cornbread and a knob of butter (Link) Great made in batches to freeze into take and go mug serves.Don't forget the related Thumbnail Links at the end of this post, enjoy :D'

... The Cornbread 'Car Sesamin' Coarse and a knob of butter (Link) 
... What I Used;
  • Red lentils
  • Mung beans 
  • Black Turtle beans
  • Sea Salt
  • Bay Leaf
  • Parsley dried
  • Garlic dried flakes
  • Chilli flakes
  • Smoked ground Paprika
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Tomato Puree
  • Canned Tomatoes
  • Grated Carrot
  • Onions thinly sliced
  • Celery thinly sliced
  • Water
... Earlier this morning the combination of dried beans and lentils were added to a large pot with boiling water to soak with the sea salt and bay leaf
... Then strained later on in the evening
... The legume mix is rinsed and drained. More water is added, along with Jar of Tomatoes and PURE Tomato Purée. Add the sliced celery, onion and carrot. Stir through
... Over low heat stir through the olive oil, spices, garlic and parsley to taste
... Simmered for 40 minutes over low
... Some in a bowl for now and some mugged to freeze to take and go throughout the week with BPA free freezable and heatable mugs
