Roasted Seeds 'Pumpkin Chilli'

~ Home roasted Pumpkin Seeds with Chilli flakes in the Oven or Toasted on a Skillet ~

pumpkin, save scooped out seeds to roast a nutritious snack. A pumpkin one can have 5 uses with no wastage, frugal living at its healthiest and best. Pumpkin Seeds fresh and whole
Chilli flakes
Sea salt
Oil Spray 'Extra Virgin Olive Oil' (Link)

 ... Rinse out scooped seeds and soak in salt water overnight. Salt water deactivates enzyme inhibitors in the seeds; those enzyme inhibitors can irritate your stomach, and removing them allows the production of more vitamins in the seeds. Strain and dry seeds

... Add seeds to a baking tray lined with baking paper. Coat with oil spray, then sprinkle the sea salt and chilli flakes. Bake in oven on low for 55 minutes. Remove and allow cooling completely before storing
