‘Pumpkin puree is Golden, creamy, meaty and smooth
as silk. Pureed
pumpkin done at home is so much better for you and
cheaper than the canned variety bought. What's this cream great? Sweet or
Savoury, from scone mix, to oatmeal toppers and risottos. It's is actually a
fav of mine on oatmeal. This was also used to make Oats Scott
'Pumpkin Maple Almond' hot or chilled (Link) with
one pumpkin to give you 5 uses with no wastage. This is frugal living at its
healthiest and best. This batch also made my Crispy Skins 'Pumpkin Cayenne
Seed' (Link) Roasted
Seeds 'Pumpkin Chilli' (Link) and
Pumpkin Vegetable stock. Don’t
forget there’s more post Links at the end of this creation. Enjoy

... Remove from pot with slotted spoon and peel
skins away with a little flesh intact with a tablespoon. Keep skins to make
crispy roasted skins
|
... Allow flesh to cool and then purée in the
blender. A little butter can be added optionally but I prefer without. Purée to
