Inflamation releif (NSAIDs, Icing, Heat, Allied Health, Stevia)

"Voltaren 25, Hot/Cold Packs, Stevia and Eucalyptus Oil"

Approach

My Inflammatory Fighters.... Minimizing inflammation is a constant issue with fractures especially if t
hey haven't been fixed. When I have too Voltaren 25 I found has worked best on me.

Otherwise or as well icing/rest is crucial esp when elevating my fracture being impossible being at a constantly loaded join - hip & wherein only way to elevate is through hip flexion which in itself creates more friction on the fragmented bone. So.. avoiding elevation (via only truly, through hip flexion) is the lesser of two evils in this case.

Then there's the best deep heat money can buy & natural too... Eucalyptus Oil for those subsequent knots surrounding & compensating for pelvic instability muscles.

Upper thoracic is taking a thrashing with the use of forearm crutch but the crutch beats walking in stride with body weight loading through the fractured pelvis.. Ouch Pinch Crack Burn.

The oils great as a spray to get that hard to reach spot & great for the in between visits to my Wonder Hands Physio.

Couple of weeks after Euco oil spray & great physio work has help lessen the gait compensating knots up my neck & back invaluable, albeit the neck still feels gritty - but this alas wont completely resolve until I can get off the crutches.

Area of fracture continues to swell with time, but at least I can try & slow it down with the icing & voltaren.
ICING Anterior/Superior Pelvic Rim, Greater/Trochanteric, Sometimes back of crest 20 min every 2 to 3 hours (Avoid prolonged icing to avoid tissue damage - think frostbite, better of may small icings throughout day than 1 big one).

Note of Warning: PLEASE NEVER APPLY DEEP HEAT TO INFLAMED AREA ONLY KNOTTED MUSCLES, YOU WANT TO REDUCE SWELLING NOT INCREASE IT. Most swelling is from cellular bleeding as such not unlike the swelling post weight workout with weights, due to one of the main factors resulting thus "Overaccumulative Trauma"

Ice means STOP inflamation restrict flow/heat byproduct of work to allow healing (stop bleeding/trauma not naked to eye only evident through swelling)...

Heat means GO to remove knots/relax muscles tendons so forth & avoid reinjury/reduce scar tissue, best used with a great physio - never let a non allied health practicioner massage a suspected injury (If they dont do a through examination of problem area & suroonding area first before putting their hands on you, say thankyou & dont go back. A real good provider will request pathology/medical imaging to give appropriate care).

(Remember Knots arnt injuries!!)

Im also conuming a large amount of Stevia organic pure of course for its anti-inflammatory benefits whiilst keeping acidic foods at a minimum.
