On the run occasional healthy supermarket snacks

Finally, here's the last of the 3 related pantry blogs, the last one was 2) Show my pantry additions for taste n good health... Next still coming, & 1) An example of the adequate veg intake & safe range of fruit/types that I have (safe for the waistline :) Here's, 3) Show some healthy supermarket snacks to have on occasion. Also, At the end of this blog, there will be a screen raising idea for the office & a better back, with my stosh/stash draw snack shopping list for this time of winter & even related linked blog entry's... Now, lets bring on the snacks in a dash...

Guilt free snacks on the go to the rescue...

... There's some great super nutrient occasional options & find these passing my local Woolworth's or Cole's here in Melbourne ... I even have an emergency caught short stosh in my office & gym locker, I never skip meal times but sometimes you do get caught short (not often though :p unless sleeping in)

... Pure & not made from concentrates, high in potassium (735mg) Gluten free with no added fat, sugar or preservatives. Cholesterol free. H2Coco hydrates & is the supreme electrolyte sports drink for me, I wouldn't touch the sugar-ade drinks with a ten foot pole! There's no fat or protein but there's 16g of carbs per carton, so if your cutting carbs for comp - be mindful. Salu, drink & feel well :D

  • Coles raw date seed bars
  • RAW nuts
  • Also love snacking on raw pre-sliced mushrooms, baby carrots, pure greek yogurt tubs & milk straight from the carton for there & then catch outs on the run
POM wonderful, Sugar free, gluten free, flash pasteurized to retain both flavour and nutrients, including potassium (500mg) Has an expensive 37g of carbs per serve however & is definitely only OCCASIONAL... like once a year for me :D

One of my long standing group corporate yoga/pilates/sports core/stretching classes (FuerzaPro) was bringing up hunching at the desk..... 
Here's a simple solution.... Raise the monitor
... I use an ornate old hatbox in my office :O)
A wide screen monitor like this also enables you to split screens,
thus working more efficiently
... So add height to your monitor so your always lookin ahead
& not slumping down
My fave screen saver, looking to the sky from underwater..
... Large screens are also good for pets who like to sit in front of them lolo
